This can mean learning something new, playing a game together, making new friendships, enjoying each other's company or simply drinking coffee together. The idea is that users, participants and members will be inspired and more connected to the community through both activities and use of Juno Go's services.

Meetings for real

Meeting and connecting digitally is not the same as meeting offline. Juno Go's groups meet locally and in person to make our real community grow stronger. Juno Go is not just used for meeting online, group calls or conversations there.

To have someone to organize activities

It can be a little uncomfortable, or even scary, to show up at events where you don't know anyone, so having an organizer at every event is important to get other members and users to feel welcome and comfortable.

All Juno activities require one person on site to represent and organize the activity to help link participants, liaise with relevant companies and/or venues and maintain the structure of the activity. The organiser must, as a minimum, arrange the venue and time of the activity, as well as acting as a contact before and during the activity.

If an organisation or company sponsors an activity, it must the activity description must include contact details of a person who will be present at the event.

If Juno learns that there was no organizer present at a group activity, we have the right to remove both the person from Juno Go's membership, as well as the activity from Juno Go.

Where honest and genuine about the purpose of the group

Juno Go's organizers should always act genuinely and honestly, and be transparent with other users and members so that everyone knows what to expect at various group activities. Event and activity names and descriptions must accurately describe and provide the necessary information to allow others to make informed decisions about their participation. This means, at the very least, being clear about:

  • What applies on the activity, interests, expectations and purpose of the activity
  • About the activity has special user requirements
  • Costs, dates and times
  • Affiliation of the activity, if it is linked to any kind of company, organisation or other type of third party.

If Juno becomes aware that an activity does not meet these criteria and communicates the information correctly, we have the right to remove the activity from Juno Go.
