The Role
We are looking for a developer who is just as comfortable building out pixel-perfect user interfaces as they are at handling the Linux shell, getting your hands dirty with backend APIs, and ensuring smart solutions are built from the ground up.
Preferred location: Barcelona. Also, Prague, Stockholm, and Zurich may be an option.
About you
- A self-starter who takes responsibility for what you build. You recognize that a problem won't solve itself and you cannot resist the urge to solve any issues before any of your teammates.
- 3+ years hands-on work experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Able to lead projects and collaborate well with other team members in an Agile development environment
- A firm believer in the value of testing and writing automated tests
- Have a good understanding of system design patterns, Cloud Architecture, CI/CD
- Proficient in one or more back-end languages, Node.js, PHP and Go preferred
- Someone who strives for engineering excellence and writing clean, maintainable code
- Enthusiastic about researching new technologies and integrating them into existing systems whenever appropriate
- You consider yourself to be language agnostic, i.e if you don't know it you can pick it up and understand different programming languages quickly.
- Fluent in English
- We don't need to mention git as a skill, its already ingrained in your workflow without thought
Experience / Skills
- Well-versed in Angular/React technologies & UI frameworks
- Experienced with designing and/or building REST APIs
- You use both relational and non-relational databases (SQL/MongoDB)
- Experienced with NodeJS and ExpressJS
- You already use typescript, RxJs
- State management Redux, NgRx, Akita etc

- Experience with Ionic 3+
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure especially Google Cloud (AppEngine, Compute, Storage).

- Experience developing for wearable technology (FitBit, AppleWatch etc)
